Well nowhere online can I find Lachiusa's The Wild Party lyrics, so I figured I would ask here. I am looking for lyrics to the song "People Like Us". And now that I am on the subject. I really adore this show and I am seeing the production at Columbia this Saturday night. Has anyone gone/is anyone seeing it. Let me know how it is.

It sucks that they're not available anywhere online that I can find.

Go to the bookstore and buy Great American Musicals, or whatever it's called. That, FLOYD COLLINS, RENT and PARADE are all published in it.

Shame on you guys for not owning the CD--one of the few recent CDs I've bougth with good full lyrics.

Peopel Like Us is such an ace song and is one of those examples you just have to throw in the face of anyone who claims LaChiusa writes unmemorable songs

I do own the C.D., but foolishly I bought it on itunes, so no booklet. I love the show immensely. It is brilliant and touching and I really wish I didn't miss it.

I own that book that iluv desacribed. It's not just lyrics, it's the full show: dialogue and stage directions and all. Great score.

AH I shouldn't be so quick to judge--I always forget about itunes... They really should make the bookelts available online.

It is a GREAT show (we need more LaChiusa recordings starting with Little Fish NOW)

I am so grateful to find the lyrics to People Like Us. This is probably way too late, but there is now a site with at least most of the lyrics of the whole show. I found it first and kept puzzling over why I had such a hard time finding the one and only song in the show that so moved me. Now I know, it was missing from theirs but here on yours.
