I am going to be in the city this Saturday and was wondering what the rush has been like for Lady Day and Casa Valentina. I really want to see them both but i can only stand in line for one and then walk over to the other and see if they aren't sold out already.
So i was wondering how has the Lady Day rush been lately? Same with Casa Valentina?
I rushed Casa last Saturday, and It did not get busy until 10. I have not rushed Lady Day yet, hoping to tomorrow or Friday. I would suggest getting Lady day first then going to Casa as they have a Student Rush, not general rush, both have 2 shows that day.
broadwaybabe1234, are you under 30? You could sign up for MTC's 30 Under 30 to get a ticket for Casa Valentina.
brdway411, what time did you get there for Lady Day rush? (And what time would you recommend getting there?)
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Thanks for the help. If i get to the box office at 10 do you think that they would still have tickets? I just need to know how early of a bus i need to catch...
NO, they only had 10 tickets today, at 10am when they let us in only the first 5 out of 10 people got tickets. The last people that got tickets got to the line at around 8:30, 9:00 am. Today was a weekday. The show is selling well. Tonight was sold out (at least that is what the Box office told me this morning). I would get there no later than 8:30, 9 am. and even then there is no guarantee there will still be rush tickets when you get to the window.
Does anyone have advice on the best way to get a discounted ticket to Lady Day this weekend? I am in town on Saturday and hoping to catch the evening performance, but won't get into the city from Baltimore until around 3:30, so I believe the rush is out. I see the show has been posting on TDF frequently according to the site...is the site reliable/price of tickets? Willing to buy full price, but my non-profit budget would appreciate your help. Thanks so much!
If you're a member of TDF and see a ticket for Saturday, why don't you just buy it? I see Lady Day is on TDF for tomorrow, Wednesday, but not yet for Saturday. If you mean the TKTS booth, that may be a good option. But in general, discounts are scarcer on the weekend.
I tried to rush Lady Day on Sunday. Got there about ten minutes before the box office opened (it opens at noon on Sundays) and there were 4 or 5 people ahead of us. When we got inside, we were told that there were no rush tickets that day, only standing room or five remaining full price seats for $97. SRO was $30 and the view was fine.
