Was this the show that was supposed to have Meredith Patterson in the role of Marilyn Monroe?

Apparently you and I are the only ones who have heard of it!
I remember reading about it about a year ago, when either a reading or a workshop was to take place. It sounded interesting, but I guess it's one of those shows that is always kinda "in the works", maybe?

Nope, you're not the only 2 lol. Following my 3rd semester final demo at AMDA I was approached by the head of our musical theater department who referred me to the composer of "Lady On A Carousel". They were looking to cast the lead, a 14 year old, Jewish boy who meets Marilyn Monroe at a carnival. Over the course of the musical he develops a heavy case of puppy love....thats all the information they provided to prepare for my audition. Unfortunately a week later I was diagnosed with leukemia and didn't step foot on stage again. That was 20 years ago.
