Hey everybody,
I'm doing some research for a paper and I'm wondering where I can get a hold of Kramer's screenplay adaptation of his own play that HBO ended up using. I'm very familiar with THE NORMAL HEART in all its iterations, but I want to be able to analyze what Kramer himself did to condense/update his own work. All I seem to be able to find online are transcripts, which reflect the influence of the director/film editor, not just the writer's intentions...
Any help you can give me would really be appreciated. Thanks, guys!

On the streets in Manhattan - mostly in the Village - there are tables filled with first draft screenplays of practically every movie released and yet to be released for sale. (Usually $15) TV movies and series scripts, too. I never got a straight answer from the sellers where they got these manuscripts, but that's one place you can try. I imagine they might be somewhere on the internet as well.

"Kramer himself"? I have my doubts.
