Because there is a law in New York State which does not allow casinos and that will stay in place. This is the New York State lottery in a different form. Go to Resorts World "Casino" in Queens and compare it to AC.

Last time I was in Times Square it was like being in a crowded elevator. With the faux casino they're talking about (Faux because it wouldn't be a real one and most people don't understand why) that elevator will dangerously exceed its weight limit.

Policies and laws that don't have specific (criminal) penalties attached are the weakness's that Trump has always exploited. If he want to rename the Kennedy Center after himself and he has the votes it will happen. Remember he succeeded in naming RFK Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, a person who wouldn't qualify as an orderly in any hospital.

Not in Times Square. Hudson Yards or Coney possibly. By the way, are we talking about real casinos or faux casinos (Resorts World, etc.)

I'm still hung up on trying to figure out if Canada will be the 51th or 52nd State after Gaza. Trump is also now talking about a 3rd term, but I think he should be most worried about a second term now because as far as I know the 25th Amendment has not been revoked.

I wouldn't be surprised if 'Left AT Tenth' is the surprise sleeper hit of the decade. 600K isn't bad for such a modest production. As for Tammy Faye isn't that somewhat similar to the Aimee Semple McPherson musical which had some big guns promoting it (Kathy Lee certainly). If that wasn't successful I don't see how Tammy Faye could do better.
