AH great taste I just adore Kathy Brier! What an amazing talent! If I hear anything I will be glad to post it immediately!

I am intersted to see what happens with this show. While JJSugar seems to be enthralled with Justin Guarini (and please, I hope this does not continue to progress into a teeny bopper Guarini fan board while I do not post often I enjoy all the new topics on new plays) I have not seen the other principals (and have only seen Guarini on Idol - and am praying this is not a repeat of the Justin and Kelly movie) but am hoping to find a great new play to love.

With Billy Crystal opening around the same time I am hoping that the show does not take too huge a hit. That might be somewhat of a problem - even though they are completely different the average NY'er does not go to the theatre that often in THAT short space of time and some shows slip by before I can get to them before they close. Too many times I've had tickets for like three days AFTER something has closed. THAT pisses me off! I just hope BC does not hurt everything opening around the same time period. According to all the write ups that are coming out - he is going to have record numbers and will make 5 million dollars for only four months work.

I am so glad for another musical. I don't think there is anything in the world quite like a good musical on Broadway. Nothing in the world. I wish it and it's cast all of the luck - I can't wait to see what progresses with this show.

that is funny you called me a teeny bopper and i'm old enough to be Justin's mother almost! LOL>>> haha!

most of Justin fans are in their 30's it seems to his fan base is far from teeny boppers! lol..

Justin was great at Vassar college workshop and you just don't yet appreciate his talent he is very amazing!

by the way i have that movie of Justin to Kelly and the music and dancing is great! If you like Grease the movie then i think anyone that does like Grease would like Justin to kelly movie! it has done pretty good in DVD sales and is Playing on Cable HBO in NOv/ dec. and has been playing a lot on cable so people are watching it! it just was more a Dvd type movie it's better then many teen ager kiddie movies !

it's like the movie Grease but more for kids! very cute !

i BET you Never saw the whole movie to even make your judgement! i really don't like it when people just Bash someone or something they never saw!

People put too much faith in the Media and i sure like to make up my own mind about stuff and not let the Media control my mind and what i am told to like or not like! the dvd even got good reviews so it was more of a dvd or tv style movie!

the music alone is great and the dancing it is really cute! i know many closet fans of that movie it's a guilty pleasure! Justin was great in it funny and what a dancer that kid is and sang great also!

most of Justin fans are from 20 to 40 years old and mostly it seems in their 30's actually!

so Justin does not have a huge teeny bopper following, more adult fans actually!

many people saw Justin at Vassar and said he did a great job, and they were not even Justin fans or Teeny boppers! LOL>>>

Not a teenybopper either (50+), even though Justin has a lot of teenage fans, I doubt you will see them posting on a Broadway board. I just hope the Broadway patrons give him a fair chance and not pre-judge him based on the "role" he played on American Idol (there is nothing "real" about reality tv).

Brian Wilson's new album "Smile" has been getting rave reviews and selling out concerts around the world (two at Carnegie Hall the past two nights). That's good publicity for the show. I think it was really smart of the producers of Good Vibrations to hold off things so that the show ties into the hype surrounding Brian and the release of Smile.

I can't wait to get to NY to see Good Vibrations and Wicked.

For the record, CC, at 48, I'm hardly a teeny-bopper either. Just a happily-married, professional woman who truly appreciates the multi-talented Justin Guarini. He has brought a breath of fresh air to the music industry and now, hopefully, will do the same thing for Broadway.

You talk about what you want to talk about . . . we'll talk about what we want to talk about. Free country and all that stuff. Just like I'm not interested in a number of other current or soon-to-open shows -- you're probably not interested in GB. To each his/her own . . .

Just for the record, I am a 58 year old Justin Guarini fan. I love his voice and he has a charisma that lights up the stage when he is singing. Loved the workshop at Vassar for Good Vibrations and will be going to New York for many performances. To those of you who are not excited about GV, just remember you are bringing into the Broadway market a different group of people. We will be seeing other plays and musicals while we are visiting. So if I get to know you on this board, I will go to the plays or musicals you are appearing in too.

these kids today are soo lucky they have all these cool things like the internet and mp3's and oh my i remember playing my records before even Cassettes were invented! LOL

my first record when i was a Kid i think under 10 years old was the single of David cassidy 'i think i love you' !LOL>>hahaha! gotta love david cassidy what a sexy voice that guy has singing! oh baby now he was hot when he was young! yikes! lol

But i loved rock and roll as i got into my high school years and went to concerts with the EAGles loved them, steve miller band, Heart, journey and many others!

what a great time it was growing up in the 70 and 80's!

gotta love the Bratt pack i grew up with them and well i just saw DUCky on cable in 'pretty in pink' and he was just soo funny omg i loved him and that other guy that played the rich kid i had a crush on him he was soo cute!

It would not be a bad idea to actually make that movie 'pretty in pink' a Broadway show it is such a great movie and i think it would be a perfect broadway show comedy!

and I find Justin Guarini immensely talented and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. He absolutely has "IT" and I cant wait to see him in this show!

As a forty year old, I am looking forward to seeing this musical. I like the Beach Boys. I look forward to seeing Justin Guarini perform live. This sounds like it will be a fun musical for all fans and not just the fans of Justin.

wow...omg...we are all over 40 !

no wonder i get along with some of the justin fans that post here cause i'm closer in age to you ladies and come from the same or almost the same generation!

i guess we are the Target Market for 'good vibrations' and it sure seems that Justin has quite a few of his fans on the boards over 40 ! ummm? is it the maternal thing and we all feel very protective of justin like he could be our own kid! He is every mothers hope to have a child to grow up and have such a great head on their shoulders and someone that can handle and get thru adversity and has a Heart and lives life with passion!

what mother would not be proud to have a Son like Justin! being we are all old enough to be his mom, that makes sense why many of us older fans are very protective of Justin with those nasty people 19 and Rca that messed him over!

so the Jguar-OVER-40-Club !!

it was nice to be called a Teeny Bopper i did enjoy it gotta love the internet i just feel like a kid when i'm on it !

the most exciting thing we had to do was Pacman or Pong on the first Pc computers! LOL>>hahaha! i even remember the Punch cards we used for the mainframe computers we used in college! OMG... thank god i only had to do that for my first year and then no more punch cards! LOL>>>

I took computer in college and it's soo different now that i'm lost on the internet and the new viruses and crap you have to know now i miss the old day's when computers did not get viruses! LOL

hi JJ! i am part of that over 40 aged club as well. anyway it is great to see such great talent as justin guarini and tamyra gray making it on broadway they both are very talented all around entertainers and have what it takes to do well on broadway . this will hopefully lead to bigger and better roles inthe future that will give them audiences beyond the american idol crowd.

well i never admitt my age range, but i'm just barely over the 40 mark..lol..och my birthday is soon nov. 16th so i'm even older still under 45! lol.. where did the years go they go soo fast it's amazing!

it is great the news about Tamyra also on broadway hopefully the dates coincide so maybe people might beable to see Justin in GV and also drop by to see Tamyra too! LOL pretty cool for both of them to be on Broadway both fan groups have been thru the ringer with Tam and Justin, so it's a great time to Celebrate ! yeh!!!!

geez i guess most of my message board idol fans / justin fans are all over 40 that is really something i did not quite realize everyone's age i thought more people were in their 30's or 20's!

Justin and Tamyra were soo old school syle on ai-1 maybe it did attract an older fan base cause some of the idols like Kelly have a lot more annoying kids as fans and kids these day's are very rough and agressive i can't deal with the kids on message boards it's shocking how they talk and act!
