Last-Minute Tickets to Sold-Out Shows?

I know about cancellation lines- but other than that, is there any way to obtain last-minute tickets to sold-out shows online (Ticketmaster, Telecharge, etc)? Maybe the night before or morning of? I've heard about house seats and premium seats opening up for regular price but I don't know how early or how to go about getting them. Thanks.

i got a ticket for Wicked on ticketmaster last night for Wednesday January 4th...if you are persistent, single seats do show up! Good luck!

I got tickets in the first row the the mezzanine of telecharge the day before a performance of Ave Q back when it was really popular which were early cancellations I guess. You have to keep checking. What show are you looking for?

Usually two days before hand you can get great tickets to a show on Ticketmaster/Telecharge

Does anyone know if Jersey Boys has a cancellation line?

They tend to release single tickets the day of the show. During the strike, they had row D avaliable two hours before the show. Although, chances are all shows are sold out this week. I went to a sold out performace of The Producers tonight.
