Last Night's Theater Talk

Did anyone happen to catch Theater Talk last night? Michael Reidel seemed extra off-his-rocker and borderline offensive. He didn't know Rebecca's character's name, when he didn't know which pronoun to use for the character, he replied, "Excuse me for know being up on my "transgenderisms'" and he put air quotes around the word (to which she definitely made a few fantastic gif-worthy faces), and he called her Naomi.

He also stuck his foot in his mouth a few times with Taye. Fascinating that someone could have a lasting career in the business with that type of demeanor and knowledge.  And it's on PBS, which is supposed to be known for quality television!

Did not see it but Reidel always struck me as someone who should be pumping gas in a town like Mayberry. He comes off as a know it all little weasel . I watch it only for the guests. If the subject matter or guest does not interest me, I delete it from my dvr
