Birthright

From the website that I posted the link to:

What begins as a reunion among six young friends after a Birthright trip to Israel in 2006 becomes, over the span of 18 years, an exploration of identity, fracturing communities, and what it means to belong in BIRTHRIGHT by Tony Award® winner JONATHAN SPECTOR (EUREKA DAY) and directed by TEDDY BERGMAN (MOTHER RUSSIA).

As these friends grow up and the world around them shifts in seismic ways, they find the

Birthright

MCC is doing it, and just got an email that it’s being postponed a week and a half because Abbi Jacobson has left the production due to “personal reasons.” Given the topic, this brings up a lot of questions. Anyone know more?

Spring Awakening Revival @ Studio Seaview???

They can play the adults.

Death Of A Salesman Closing ?

Also have tickets for July 22nd and didn’t get a cancellation email.

Three Days Of Rain/A Few Good Men/Other Desert Cities revivals

That play is a snooze, even without Julia Roberts weighing it down. Put it in Cherry Lane for a couple months maybe."

I think you’re underestimating the fans of that show. And while one episode focused on hi

OH, MARY (West End Replacements)

This makes me think they’re gonna record it. Seems to be the trend to bring back the original, do it out of NY and record it like Hadestown and Newsies.

FALLEN ANGELS Previews

UWS10023 said: "I saw the production over the weekend and found it quite entertaining and I laughed out loud several times at the physical comedy. I was very impressed with Kelli O’Hara for I had no idea she hadsuch sharp comedic skills. The setand costumes were top notch. I adore Rose Byrne but I had a difficult time understanding her. And as her character became more intoxicated she sounded like she was chewing on marbles. She desperately needed a stage acting coach to work w

Every Tony prediction signal in one place: markets, critics, audiences, precursor awards. Schmigadoon is indeed now the heavy favorite. They're split on Cats/Ragtime though

IMHO, Cats deserves revival and Ragtime can go its leads. What Cats does with that show literally revives it.

Just In Time 3.0 - Jeremy Jordan

this show should've closed with Groff. It's painful to say but very evident when comparing my two different experiences with this show.

the real strong suit overall of the show was groff and the way that he beautifully embedded it with significance by connecting it to his love of performing. you could feel his need for performing behind every step he took. as someone who r

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Review - 1 Minute Critic

Auggie27 said: "How is Garnett Williams? Would love to know how she navigates the second act "Memory." It's the only staging in the show that for me doesn't quite come up to the reinvention. Maybe because - no spoilers - the first act "Memory" genuinely wrecked me. I go way back to Cats - I saw the original-original in the West End in November 1981 (took my parents) - but this wasthe first time the first act "Memory" pulledunexpected but

Just In Time 2.0 - Matthew Morrison

Omg forgot about that. I was surprised that Groff did it in his undies. Can’t imagine the other men doing it the same.

MOULIN ROUGE! Broadway Casting Thread

Tonight’s show was stopped mid way and Megan was taken to the hospital. Not sure what happened.

Heated Rivalry Parody

Anyone see the readings they did? Is it any good? Have no idea what this venue is like either.

JUST IN TIME Reviews

Should’ve said this yesterday when I posted about attending, but it was also Sarah Hyland’s final performance and was so just so absolutely adequate. No real depth or emotion to her voice and minimally to her performance. So very eh. I know she sells tickets because of Modern Family, but I’d pass on seeing her again.

JUST IN TIME Reviews

I was one of the people at tonight‘s show, but I definitely didn’t pay those prices. They give out bracelets as people entered, and the enthusiasm and energy were high throughout. Lots of standing ovations and long moments of applause. Speeches at the end, focused on how this was a once in a lifetime performance, and it was. He didn’t win the Tony, but this is one of those performances that will live on. The man is selling tickets, singing, dancing, and leaving it all out th

I posted about this here a couple months ago when John Clay posted about it on Instagram, but I don’t think it was ever announced officially.

Thank you! He seems genuinely excited to be back on stage, and that makes me excited to see him. Hope it’s good!

So is the Shubert staying empty til November?

MayAudraBlessYou2 said: "Unless they have a much more in-demand crop of celebs, I doubt it is literally another Simon Rich show like All In and All Out. All Out didn't do nearly the business the producers hoped it would. It should be assumed that a third iteration in this series will continue the trend of diminishing returns unless they havemega A-Listers in the lineup. But there is also zero reason for producers to rush in another one of these before the end of the season. All O
