Any standout last show surprises you all know about ? Like for instance OBC members coming back to the show on the closing date . I ask this because a large part of me wants to see one of the original Tilda's do the final show even tho I know theres a slim to none chance of it happening

I saw Rondi Reed come back for the last performance of August Osage County. I believe Elizabeth Ashley had a last minute illness.

I was at the last performance of Nice Work and many of the cast came back for the final show, including a very pregnant Kelli O'Hara, who was replaced by Jessie Mueller, Brad Oscar who had filled in for McGrath during the run, Robert Hartwell who had left to do Cinderella. Matthew Broderick acknowledged everyone on stage and gave very heartfelt sentiments. As I thought about it, it was a very special experience to be there that night.

I don't foresee the original Matildas coming back to do the show but I can see many of the Matildas coming back to join the current cast during curtain call or coming to the show in general. One thing I love about the Matilda cast is how close everyone is. When a large group of kids leave many of the kids in the area and some of the adults will come see the show to support the leaving kids.
Edit it for a random thought but it'd be cool if like bully Elliot, the Matildas rotated during the final show so each current Matilda got to do part of the show.
