There is nothing to "fix". The creative team is choosing the winner, not the public. It doesn't even make sense to call something like that fixed.

I don't think "fixed" was the correct word.

there have been rumblings that they already knew who they were casting as a replacement, and that this show is simply a publicity stunt.

It's all rumors but perhaps IAmMyOwn knows more...

If it really is only for two months if might be because the show wont last past that. Summer will be over. I liked the show, but looking at their grosses they're not doing that great.

The show will definitely last through Labor Day. BEyond that, who knows? With LBB leaving, the reality show girl could pump up the grosses for a few weeks or hurt them. Also, other principals in the cast will be leaving which will hurt also, especially people like Orfeh.

I think their best bet would be to stunt cast Emmett or Paulette with someone who is a good draw and talented and perhaps they can draw it out a little longer.

I think a washed-up '80s popstar would be a good Paulette (i.e. Cyndi Lauper)
A teen heartthrob would make a good Warner.
Basically anyone from Wicked's "Wizard" stunt casting pool could be Callahan.

Mel B was offered the role OF BROOKE in LONDON'S WEST END version.

That is straight out of the mouth of her, and her reps. She was flown to NY this past week to see the show.
