Wayman_Wong said: "Speaking of Christmas fare on Netflix, anyone seen ''Dash & Lily''?Austin Abrams and Midori Francis star in thisadorable, new teen rom-com series.
It was created by Joe Tracz, the bookwriter of ''Be More Chill'' and ''The Lightning Thief,'' and is produced by Nick Jonas, last seen on Broadway in ''How to Succeed.'' The delightfully diverse cast includes Nick Blaemire (''Godspell'' ), Troy Iwata (''Be More Chill'' ), Jodi Long (''Flower Drum Song'' ), Michael Park (''Dear Evan Hansen'' ), James Saito (''The King and I'' ), Patrick Vaill (''Oklahoma!'' ) and NaTasha Yvette Williams (''Waitress'' ).
Shot last Christmas all over NYC (from Macy's to the Morgan Library), it's avalentine to the Big Apple, bookended by scenes at theStrand bookstore.
Thank you for the recommendation. What a fun series to watch the week before Christmas. The Art Direction is splendid. A love letter to Christmas In New York. Reminded me of Katie Keene.
For fans of Jeremy Jordan, his Hallmark movie, ''Holly & Ivy,'' debuts tonight (Sun., Dec. 27) at 8 p.m., EST, on the main Hallmark Channel. (It premiered a few weeks ago on a sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.) Jeremy plays a contractor who helps a woman (Janel Parrish from ''Les Miz'' ) renovate her house so she can adopt a sick neighbor's children. By the way, TVInsider did an article about ''7 Stars We Want to See in More Hallmark Movies,'' and two of leading men they singled out were Jeremy and Aaron Tveit.
Here, Jeremy chats about ''Holly & Ivy'' to Home & Family ...
And now Hallmark just filmed another movie with Jeremy. This time he s a twin of a chef (?) and somehow he need to pretend to be his twin brother and enter cooking competition. They just finished filming few days ago. And he and his co star also wrote the song for the movie and sing it as well.
Update: Jeremy Jordan's latest Hallmark movie, ''Mix Up in the Mediterranean,'' airs Saturday, Feb. 20, at 9 p.m., EST, on the Hallmark Channel. He plays twins - one straight and one gay - and he's a small-town cook who tries to impersonate his big-city chef brother for a cooking competition.
