Anyone else excited? I love Lea Michelle. It's like a high school musical.. but GOOD. I don't see how it'll be a tv show, though.

It's called Glee unless they changed the name without my knowing.
I love Matt Morrison and Cheyenne Jackson and Jayma Mays, so I'll certainly be watching Glee.
But I don't know who Lea Michelle is, so I might give Glee Club a miss.
Lea Michelle was the original Wendla is Spring Awakening, she's fantastic.
No. Lea Michele was.
Weez, you need to add John Lloyd Young to your list.
Don't know who that is either. Is he related to John Lloyd Young?
EVERY TIME I watch Ashes to Ashes, I see the licence plate on Gene Hunt's car, and my brain AUTOMATICALLY translates the JLY out into John Lloyd Young! O_O
STUCKinOH, thank you for taking my snark in the good humour in which it was intended. :)
Weez, he is his father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate

My musical theatre fan self is conflicting with my TV fan self because it has a ton of musical theatre people, but looks like a terrible show.
Then again, I watched Stacked for Marissa Jaret Winokur, so I can probably survive anything.
Lea Michele love....that's a minority here on the boards.
I still predict an Epic Fail; but am still willing to check it out.
^Marissa Jaret Winokur was the only good thing about Stacked in my opinion and the only reason I ever watched it in the first place (and admit I watched it).
I don't know about Glee. Good cast, but I'm iffy on it actually being good. But it could prove me wrong (and if it's brilliant, it probably won't get good rating to fail like other good shows out there...). Either way, airing it after American Idol is a good idea, but I wonder if it will be forgotten in the summer rush. I almost wish they were airing after American Idol as a summer show, using AI's ratings as a new lead-in. (that's the TV-major in me thinking that...)

I love that she auditioned with On My Own.
p.s.
Lea Michele's On My Own was for me the highlight of the Les Miserables Hollywood Bowl concert. She was the only performer in control of her acting together with her singing.

Well I hate when people fuss about something like this.. AND when people criticize on mispelled words and difference in opinion.. There's probably 50 tony threads.. and numerous repeated threads where people are just complaining.. can't you just be happy?
I see this show being successful, looks fun and fresh. Plus it seems like they take on some pretty cool songs. That version of "don't stop believin`" is awesome. I can't wait, 11 days!

You mean you LIKED the closed-eyes-head-back-wannabe-rockstar wailing during "that I have never knooooooooooooooooooooooooown"?
Well, I'm glad you were happy.
From what I heard, its only showing the pilot in May and then will show the rest of the season in the fall.

Okay, just from that small video, I'm so excited about seeing this show. The promo right there, in it's own way, felt like the trailer for a new movie or musical. If that was a musical right there, i'd go see it. I think it's really good.
I think it looks good.
I DID think the trailer looked more entertaining than I thought it would.
And yes, B'way bound: one episode now, and then they plan on waiting to air the rest in the fall. (Unless the plan has changed recentlyt.)

Oof... I'm not sure that's a good idea. I would watch it if nothing else were on, but if it's up against certain shows...

That didn't happen! Certainly not Sunday night, when I was there. [And it wasn't rehearsed that way, either.]
Her head was level, "KNOWN" was a full six seconds, and her eyes were open for at least the last two-thirds of it.
p.s.
The note was smoooooooooooooooooooooooooth, and unbroken.
