She'll be off from the show from August 19- September 3.
She'll be heading to Manila.

I hadn't heard about her taking a vacation, but she did extend her contract with the show.
Originally, she was supposed to leave August 18th. She's now signed on a few extra months through October 21st.
I'm guessing this vacation being scheduled the week of her original contract end date is probably because it was added as a perk with her extention.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
