So, I do know that it is early to talk about this. But, not that early. Does anyone know who is rumored to be playing fantine after Salonga leaves the show?

Honestly, I don't care who it is, but they won't be better than Lea. I just recently saw Les Mis for the first time. Lea brought tears to my eyes. That like never happenes. She is AMAZING!! I don't thing the show will be as amazing once Lea leaves.

So, I like HAVE to see the show again before Oct. 22. Somehow.

I was just stating a fact.

But I still don't think there's another person out there who can play Fantine as amazing!

I adored Lea's Fantine. She made me cry repeatedly, which is rare.

But my #1 fave Fantine remains Elinore O'Connell of the 2nd national tour.

I saw Lea as Fantine, and although she was onstage for a short amount of time, she was one of my favorite parts of the show. She is absolutely amazing!

Does anyone know when/if Nikki Renee Daniels is returning to the cast from Aida? I would love to see her and Haviland Stillwell alternate Fantine during Lea's vacation, and have Nikki take over in October.

Who is covering Nikki's track now?

During Lea's vacation, Haviland Stillwell and Nikki Renee Daniels will be alternating Fantine.

Haviland will be on
8/20, 8/21, 8/30, 8/31, 9/1

Nikki will be on
8/22,8/23,8/24,8/25,8/27,8/28,8/29

Christy Faber has been covering Nikki.

She has a lovely voice, but I hated that stupid riff she did at the end of Part of Your World.

She also messed up the words--walking around on those,not along.

like, it made me like, so mad, like gawd! (that was for Lizzy :))

and after watching those videos, I'm glad I'm in NYC when Nikki is performing.

Were you refering to Lea? If yes, she didn't do "The Little Mermaid." Lea only did Aladdin and Mulan for Disney.

I bet Lea Salonga is wonderful. Ever see the concert DVD? She's the definitive Eponine.

Yeah I was talking about Haviland, not Lea, I know she didn't do the Little Mermaid.
