I was just looking at a Cabaret website and saw a picture of Lea. Just wondering, has anyone seen her in Cabaret and how was her performance? I've seen her in various movies, including the Back to the Future ones.

I also saw her. Since they didn't pass out Playbills until the end and I was sitting pretty far back, I didn't know who was playing Sally until after the show was over. She was wonderful. I wonder why she hasn't come back to Bway?
cabaret seemed like one of those shows where they just casted anyone with a big name..kinda like grease, and chicago...but lea still could of done a good job i didnt get to see her in it.
Cabaret should never have been one of those shows to submit to mostly lead stunt casting, but whatever. In a slight defense, it's not like the names were huge...more like an 80s flashback.
And yes, I did see Lea. She was my first, and though I don't remember a lot thanks to being drunk off my ass for the first time, I remember crying my eyes out during her Cabaret. She was good!
The "official" reason was becasue the artistic director didn't want the Playbills to distract the audience members. He wanted it to have the feel of a real cabaret. I also think its because they were trying to push souvenier programs.
