I'm currently in the middle of the Atlantic doing a crossing on the QM2. Lovely, BUT... the internet connection aboard is notoriously slow and flaky. I'm hoping to pick up a couple of tickets for King Lear this Saturday when they go on sale.

- At what time, typically, does Telecharge start selling tickets?
- I recall in the past, there was a URL for a less "enhanced" website version. Since even less-burdened pages often time-out onboard, this would be very helpful to me. Does it still exist (and if so, what is it?)

Ticket sales generally start at 10am EST; latest, noon. I believe the Telecharge mobile site that automatically loads on your phone is faster than loading the desktop version.

I don’t anticipate this will be a huge sell-out as soon as tickets go on sale, so you maybe don’t have to stress too much about getting your ticket ASAP. But I could be wrong!

I remember it was easy to get tickets for Three Tall Women until the last month or so. Also, Rudin likes to hold back all the good seats until closer to the performance date, so holding off at least until you reach shore is probably fine.

Unless you want premium seats or prefer rear orchestra and extreme sides, it doesn't pay to get tickets early to Broadway shows. Those only doesn't apply in cases where the show is high demand and will sell out (but even then, waiting for premiums to down-convert is still often better)
