"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
Gotcha Gov -- though I guess I missed the memo that said that November is NPH month, but I guess there are worse ways to celebrate the coming of winter (he does rather fetching in his turtleneck).

wickedfan - there are definitely a few others here who enjoy Company, myself included. And I like Passion, too, actually. The plot/characters aren't attractive to many people, it seems. But I love Passion.
I know I will most likely be killed for saying this, but I don't think Sondheim is good at ending his musicals. Like 'Into the Woods', 'Sunday In the Park with George', and 'Sweeney Todd'. I just love the first acts much more than the seconds in all of these shows.
well i cant comment on bounce, because I've never heard it, but i havent ever seen a sondheim show i havent liked. I havent liked songs, but send in the clowns is the most obvious (probably becos every woman and her dog sings it). I'm happy to say i LOVE Company, A little night music, SITPWG, into the woods, sweeney todd, passion, forum, anyone can whistle (ive heard not seen), the bits ive heard of Merrily and Evening Primrose. But my favourite score is Sweeney, my favourite show is SITPWG

As for "Company". I loved the show. I love the Documentary and the 'Bobby Baby' theme segments brilliantly tie the show together.
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."
