Leave Poster with Door Man?

I am going to see Hedwig next week with JCM, and have a poster from the previous times I have seen it signed by NPH, Rannells, and MCH and would love to add JCM to it. I am seeing the Friday 7pm show so obviously he will not come out of the stage door at all. Is it possible to leave my poster with the doorman before the show (like a few hours before) and pick it up later?

I've had luck doing this with other shows/people. It never hurts to write a short note (maybe even offer a donation to BCEFA in it). Just ask the doorman his honest opinion.
