Sorry if this has been posted before, but what are the chances of Reese actually doing the musical? She just won an Acadmey Award for a singing role, is the sweetheart of the entertainment industry, and has mentioned wanting to spend more time with her kids.

It could be the new "BOY FROM OZ."

If not her, I would cast Larua Bell Bundy.

Witherspoon makes $25 million a picture and there's no way she'd uproot her family from LA for a year or more to do 8 shows a week on Broadway for a tenth of that (especially for a role she's already done on film). It'll never ever happen.

If she has a dream to be on Broadway she would do it for any price. look at Harry Connick! rriieeeght? She just might want to add a Tony to that Oscar and GOlden Globe! ya never know...

They could add in Sarah Michelle Gellar and the homely guy from Dawson's Creek, revive Closer and make it a Cruel Intentions reunion at the same time!

They cut the musical numbers out, Thes. Plus there was lots of disco music which would also have to be in Legally Blonde since it is set in the early 2000s.

You guys are all so blind! Someone should produce a musical of Cruel Intentions, so they can be on Broadway together and not have to break up the family. AND Laura Bell Bundy could still star as Elle in Legally Blonde. Win-win.

Im assuming they're in rehersals now/soon etc...so Kate couldn't really do it if she's taking over for Megan Hilty in WICKED.

Diana may be interested you never know.Timeline she finishes Hairspray May 21, performances for Brooklyn start June 11 She restarts Hairspray Sept 5 (Tentative) for 6 months ???would take her to end Feb.Performances don't start till April 27. I understand there is a preview in January but that is more a shakeout to measure audience reaction to the play structure)
So yes it is do able.I'm just tired typing all this can you imagine doing it.SNOR!!!The Hairspray reviews say she can act very well and she has great comedic timing.

FOAnatic, I keep hoping "But I'm a Cheerleader" is finally going t move forward and that they'll get Kate for that. I know she was interested.
