I was just curious. Am going to buy tickets to it in Rochester and wondering if there were any discounts out there. :)

im pretty sure there are no codes for while it is in dc :/
i bought tickets back in september an couldnt find any... plus, they have sold a TON of seats already so there really isnt a big need for discounts if people are buying the tickets

I have to say this is one tour where I haven't seen any discounts here in Philly, which is usually not that common. We got offers for $15 seats at Whistle Down the Wind and many got comped, but apparently still no one turned out. I bought my tickets last week and to my understanding, the majority of the tour around the country in the immediate future is very well sold, so I would buy now and don't expect any discounts!

Infinite: Does D.C. have a discount ticket booth similar to NYC's TKTS? I know Boston has BosTix, where you can go to get half-price tickets cash only on the day of the show.

DC has a tickets booth, but I doub't it will be up there. The big musicals at the Kennedy Center usually aren't.

To clarify...

The Kennedy Center does have a program called SPT's (Specially Priced Tickets) for students, seniors, military, etc. Some can be purchased in advance, and some day of. See link...

Also, there is a discount ticket booth called Ticketplace and you can purchase either in person or online. See link...

And finally, there are usually a lot of good deals for DC theater on Goldstar.

I'm not saying LB will probably be found at these places because it is selling so well, but there is the info. Since you didn't know it existed, hope that is helpful, Pianolin and Millie.

I'd call the theater. They should be able to tell you when and where to get codes or student rush info. GOOD LUCK!
