How is the view from the third balc. I have tix up there with my school and was just wondering if the balc is actually anywhere near decent. Thanks.

It's fine, if you're in the first few rows. You're better off on the street than the last few rows.
First few rows meaning a-d? I thin we're somewhere in the front of the balc. Thanks.

I remember seeing a video of a guy in the Palace and he was sitting up in the balcony. They showed the view for about a minute, and I remember thinking it was a little too high. Granted, this was from a video, but still, I didn't like the looks.

Oh no, it's totally too high- at least it was to me. We had student rush tix to Lestat in the balcony, and it was the worse case of vertigo that I've ever felt- we moved down to the orch during intermission. If I'm remembering correctly, getting up to the balc involves both stairs *and* an elevator- it's pretty up there.
The balcony at the Palace is terrible, even from the front row. The only good thing about it is that the theatre has a great sound system, so you'll be able to clearly hear everything. The times I've been forced up there, I haven't been able to see a thing.

I had my first experience sitting in the balcony for Legally Blonde. They were fantastic seats and for a great price. You'll be able to see everything perfectly.
The balcony of the Palace is scary as all hell to me.
I am scared of heights and even walking around up there makes me feel like I might die.
But my friends who don't have a fear of heights seem to be okay with it :-P
I was up in the balcony for Legally Blonde.
I was Row A, Seat 26.
Its was terrifying. You feel so high up and scared.
I could see everything and view was great, but it was very scary.

I agree, but I still LOVED the show and being up there was worth it.
I've heard that the balcony at the palace is a pretty sucky place to sit. I don't think you would be able to truly enjoy the show from up there. Updated On: 5/1/07 at 01:07 PM
I have sat up there, both for Lestat and All Shook Up. It's not so bad once you sit down and realize you didn't fall to your doom.

Just make sure you're not nervous of heights.

Thats exactly how I felt.
