Legally Blonde tour set? — Page 2

To the question of 2 versions of the set. I suspect that they have several versions of the set because of the wide variety of venues they are playing on this tour and the short load-in schedule they're on. They will typically start loading in to the theatre at 8am and have a show at 8pm that same night. The 1st national would likely have had at least and extra half a day to a day to load in and would have sat down weeks instead of days. So really, they just have different options based on the venue and the length of time they will be in a city. For example, I believe that they frequently cut the LED border when they are just there for a single performance or if there isn't room in the theatre for it. One nighters are very tricky with a big show.

I doubt Troika is touring with two sets. I know for a fact that they at least DO have the LED Border (I've seen it in a picture), but as to whether it's used at every stop is probably doubtful.

I really did not think they would scale down so much. There are a lot of set pieces missing. I wonder why they do not use the LED Boarder. One of the brilliant things about the original tour was how the LED boarder would move up, down, left, and right to frame scenes on the stage.

The LED border wasn't there in Pensacola on the 23rd...which i was actually kind of surprised at.

I have to...
But it's sad that everyone knows there's no chance if there being any additions.
they at least of couldve flown in a delta nu logo you have no idea where they are

Sometimes things need to be cut because of time or logistical space in venues, it's a fact of touring... even on Equity tours.

What do they have in place of the LED border? Did they still have the curtain?

off topic but im really impressed with nikki's vocals.
and i'm also shocked they went back to the original key with this song...anyone know the reason for this? i thought they lowered the key because way the score was originally written was really vocally straining for the elle to do 8x/week?

I know this is a non eq our but I've got to say,Omigod! Less salon chairs, and the led border is gone,it helps make things less bare...and lots of numbers are performed on front of a plain backdrop! have you notice how the boards the set pieces are gone? Lots of stuffs on wheels! And does anyone know if there's a lis of merchandise for purchase? A List of that and of downsizing from the equity tour would be great! Thanks'!

The borders are used on a stop by stop basis.
Everything has to be on wheels, they can't cut holes in the stage. And you've seen four songs on Youtube. Control yourself.
