This is not true, at least the part about Denise Van Outen isn't as of now.

"Legally Blone"? I think you mean "Legally Blown", the porno adaptation of the classic film.
Jenna Jameson is a revelation as Elle!

Or maybe you should grow up? You're the one who's whining about a girl not playing the role of Elle. yikes.
it's just a RUMOR anyway..

Isn't Sheridan Smith busy filming the Bewitched thing for BBC or is that no longer happening?

I really don't think Sheridan is right for Elle. Firstly, she doesn't look like a popular cheerleader. Secondly, does she have the chops required for the part? I don't believe she has. Yes, she did well singing Audrey in LSoH, but singing, and more importantly sustaining Elle, is a much bigger ask.
I would love to have seen Siobhan Dillon play the role. Althoughg again I'm not 100% sure that she could sustain it for 8 shows a week. Yes, she was fab in Grease and Can't Smile... but they are nothing compared to LB.

Nothing about Britain - not even the obscene teenage pregnancy rate or Gordon Brown - depresses me as much as the knowledge that Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps continues to find an audience, despite never being any good AT ALL. :/

"Legally Blone"?
I think you misspelled that.
It should be "Legally Blown."

Weez its a silly fun program with some very witty scripts, its not supposed to be Shakespeare, its just a campy late night chavy tv show

Witty scripts? Where? All I see is embarrassing rubbish. There's room in my heart for fluff as well as art (I think my collection of kids picture books and fondness towards Dan Brown should be testament of that), but some things are just too awful.

I agree Weez, the scripts are awful. And the acting (if that's what you call it) is even worse. It's a terrible show.

Re: Two Pints of Lager and...
As a successor to The Royle Family (as it was marketed to be) it is dire.
Shouldn't this be on that thread on the off-topic board?
