And dramamama61, how can you say this didn't get good reviews. Save for the NYT and WSJ negative reviews, all the major reviews were very, very positive.

Hasn't everyone seen this at least 1,000 times in stock or community theater at one tenth of the price of this being on Broadway prices. For example, while the revival of Brighton Beach was well done, who would want to revive such fodder after it's been produced time and time again with very mixed results. Why do you think that grosses have been less than stellar for both shows? There are so many great new American playwrights that deserve chances at being seen on Broadway with new material. Why do the producers have to fall back on the "supposed" safe rehashed mediocre material thinking they will pull a profit?
Add me to the list of people that didn't enjoy it much.
