Akitarent, In several words - - yes, yes, yes, and of course!
You will be missing a fabulous show if you don't see it! Trust me,
many will agree. Then you can tell us how you feel about it !

^^ yes, I agree, you would DEFINITELY be missing out if you passed up the chance to see it. It's so much fun, and it's ridiculously entertaining (amazing talent, and several RENT alumni!)
post your thoughts afterwards, hopefully you won't be disappointed. :)
Are the rush seats student or general. and are they strick about ids.

I went for free back in previews and...hated it. But hey, I take every oppertunity to see a show I get, so go for it!

when I went last month the rush seats were student, and you had to show your ID when you bought the tickets, but they didn't check them at the door.

Absolutely worth seeing. But, don't listen to me or anyone else; see it for yourself. I think you will be taken with the extraordinary talent you witness on the stage.
The rush is a student rush, and they check your ID at the time of purchase.
Have fun!
I'm def. glad I didn't see it during previews...I wanna see what the show actually ends up being when it opens!
I personally feel any show is worth seeing; you never know whether or not you are going to like something until you try it!
Don't rely on the opinion of people you don't know to decide whether something is worth the time; if I had done that, I would never have seen Scarlet Pimpernel or Lennon.
Both of which I enjoyed.
plus....the price you are quoting for tickets is pretty damn good.
I've seen the show twice and have never been asked to show my ID. I guess it depends...
But definitely GO and Give LENNON a chance! (somebody had too).
Lennon the Musical is well worth the effort to see. The reviews(and pre-opening Yoko bashing) I've read to date do not do it justice.
I'd say so. It's certainly not what I'd call good theatre, really, but it's a really good time - and at the center of some flawed work is a beautiful bit of heart.
It is very flawed and very awkward at many points.
But I was never bored.
The cast is amazing.
It is fun...
Go see it, and formyour own opinion on it. What someone else didn't like, you might enjoy. I personally loved it, but like I said, go see it for yourself.
Well, every show is worth seeing, but not every show is worth the $100...when shows have reviews like this one, I make sure to try to get discounted tickets.
