Les Mis Audition Help

Our local community theatre is holding auditions for Les Miserables, and I am looking some direction in the way of song selection for my audition and for my daughter's.
I am a female in my mid 30's, classically trained, lyric mezzo-soprano (similar range to Cecilia Bartoli). My daughter is 12 and a middle school mezzo.
They only want 16 bars of a song FROM THE SHOW that best shows off your range. Any ideas??? Would LOVE some input! We saw the show for the first time when we went to see the recent release of the movie, so I am not particularly familiar with the songs.
