As I've said on the multiple OTHER threads about the CSR, I love it aside from the adult Cosette, who sounds like a bleating lamb on helium. It's the kind of voice that makes people loathe cast recordings.
(no lie--- more than once I've had friends reach for the eject button the minute that shrill, ear-splitting trill comes on, after previously listening patiently and without complaint to my CDs.)

I love Debbie Byrne as Fantine on this recording.

This recording reminds me a lot of the current revival....emotionless, and soulless.

The only people I dislike on the LM CSR are the Cosette, Valjean, and Thenardiers. I think that Kaho Shimada is fantastic as Eponine.

I hate the CSR of Miss Saigon, though.
