I know, it almost sounds like the drummer hit the drums at the wrong time :-P I just feel so bad for Little Cosette
But she does a great job for such a young actress, very proffessional how she doesn't even falter when it happens.

It's a balloon popping.
Yes, it was.
p.s. Balloons were set to descend after the encore. One popped during Castle.

How did you know this? I wonder how a balloon just popped in the middle of the performance.

I had a feeling.
Or maybe it could have been a pyrotechnic go off by mistake.
It's noticeable on the video as well, Cosette jumps for a bit.

I'm pretty sure we decided it was a balloon the last time this was discused. You can see her jump on the DVD. It's no big deal.

There were balloons held by a net on the ceiling for the finale. One popped because of the heat from one of the spotlight. We all heard it and saw it. Little Cosette was such a pro to continue singing. :)

That's funny. I always thought that Cosette's broom had dropped/fallen.
I'm as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo!

She doesn't even have an props!
Are there seriously that many people out there who've only listened to the TAC and never seen it?

It doesn't really sound like a balloon to me

I have worked with Hannah, who played Little Cosette, and yes indeed it was a balloon...and I remeber her and me discussing our favourite Disney Princess Actresses and I mentioned Lea Salonga, and Hannah just looked at me and said: yup, I've worked with her twice..hihi...me jealous? YEAH!!!!

It wasn't until very recently that I actually watched the concert. Until then, I had only listened to the recording. I've never felt the need to watch it, since it's only in a concert format.
Is that a problem? I don't understand why it's surprising that some people haven't seen it...

Because PBS whored it out for about 8 years during pledge time?

Ha ha, I've seen the show 3 times. I love it so much (more the second and third time I watched it, not really the first). And, I don't mean to seem dumb, but what's TAC? Is that "The Anniversary Cast"?

haha alxscrz I always thought that too! I thought it was like in the show when Mme. Thenardier slams the bucket on one of the tables at the end of Castle on a Cloud

what's TAC? Is that "The Anniversary Cast"?
TAC stands for tenth anniversery concert.
Its certainly not MY dream cast by any stretch of the imagination. Michael Ball makes me shudder, Lea Salonga just shouts and Colm Wilkinson is past it.

I love the TAC. Ruthie Henshall really brings a lot of emotion into Fantine even when you just listend to her, which is sometimes difficult to get from a lot of actors. When listening to the OBC Fantine she just screams I Dreamed a Dream and even though I think she has a great voice. And overall I just love Lea's big, powerful voice. I think when she sings On My Own, she lets you know that her dreams are vivid and strong, but when she comes out of that dream, she's exposed and not all she wishes she was. I at least enjoy them. Who is Colm? Is that Valjean? Whoever was on the OBC made me cringe when he sang, but maybe I'm just biased. Ha ha, probably am.

Colm is Colm Wilkinson and he's Valjean on both the TAC and OBC (as well as the OLC)
