Posted: 6/2/06 at 7:26pmHi! I am wondering about seeing Les Miserables when it comes to my town. I am not very familier with this play but I hear it is worth checking out. I have seen the official site but I was just wondering if some people who have seen it could give me thier take on things! I have heard great things about this play and any info anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!

It's a dramatization of the events of one man's life set against the backdrop of the French Student Revolution. It's based upon Victor Hugo's classic novel, called the same, and featuring Jean ValJean, who is sent to prison for stealing bread to save his sister's child. The show details his escape for freedom and the police Officier Javert's journey in finding him. Along the way we meet Eponine, the Thenardiers, Fantine, Marius, Cosette, Enjolras, and many memorable others.

I would recommend the show "Les Miserables," when done well it is a very emotional/moving story. Multimediadazzler, you should explore the offical site, I'll even link it. It has a good synopsis of the story, cast list, and video and sound clips among other things.

I would absolutely recommend seeing it. It's one of my favorites, and it's what first got me into theatre. It's amazing, and the tour usually doesn't disappoint. Go, and have a great time!
