It's true. He hasn't ever directed the national tour. Visits, sure, but he's never been the full-time director of the 3nt.

You won't have to look up that high. I've been in third row and it was fine so I imagine first isn't a stretch :) have fun!

I'll also be there on June 11th. My wife has never seen Les Mis live so we opted with Mezz seats to get the full "scope" of the show.

I'd don't think I'd really like to sit front row for Les Mis. It just seems to "big" to really enjoy that close.

sigh, I was going to get June tix, but I would then be out of town in LA or San Diego four weekends in a row, right before we leave for Europe......have Hairspray and Joseph in June, and an LAUSD retirement luncheon, too....

No I think it'll be ok. I've seen the show before, but I had the crappiest seats that were possible to get. Its not that huge of a spectacle, so being up close, I'll really be able to see the acting. Can't wait!

Oh, that "2nd thoughts" was more directed at Elphaba.

I am sure you'll have a great time in the front row. I don't really think I'd love being that close, but I can certainly understand the appeal.

I'm considering Patronus......but I'm with you...first few rows have no appeal to me. I am in LA the 10th, anyway.....

re: Les Miserables Tour at the Pantages

I was standing in the lobby of the Pantages last year when someone came in with their family and the father told the wife and kids, "Make sure you pay attention to the decorations in here guys, this is Egyptian art deco."

I started cracking up right there.

Speaking of the director, for those who have seen the tour recently, is Jason Moore still the director of the tour?
