I saw Sutton Foster as Eponine in October 1999 in Sacramento. She was incredible, and used her height and gawkiness to her advantage. She didn't glam up the role, thank goodness. My only quibble was that she was so intense, I'm not sure if (like some other people) I would've continued to enjoy her as much had I seen her Eponine a lot of times in a small space of time. I do wish I could've seen her again, though.

I saw Tonya just a couple years ago and loved her. I remember her voice being so powerful and her "Come to Me" being especially moving.
