Search "les miserables" on iTunes and that should tell you why, firebolts.

^ That doesn't answer my question - I don't think that was the reason.

Because what musical needs 5 cast recordings just in one language; 6 if you count the Manchester highlights album? (Apparently this is fine for Japan, but not anywhere else.)

Go ask Elisabeth. (Roughly 12 albums all in German.)

I've seen the revival for a few times already and I think if you put the best ones together the cast is actually quite good. The best cast I've seen is basically the original revival cast with Earl Carpenter (acting wise, singing wise I choose Andrew Love) as Javert and Melissa O'Neil as Eponine. It's a shame Melissa didn't get to be the principal on broadway. However, I was not impressed by any of the Valjeans so far, so I'm looking forward to Alfie Boe even though I didn't really like him in the 25th Ann Concert.

Not sure I can sit through this show again (I was in it for 2 months). But I bet Boe will be awesome.
