That picture comes from an article about Cameron Mackintosh and his latest endeavors with the revival and with Mary Poppins. I don't have a link offhand, but you can probably find it by going to the NYTimes website.

"Lizzie:

This photo you posted is from the London production"

She was comparing the slashieness of the two photos: "Not any slashier than this one of JOJ/Cornell John. "

Yeah, I linked to it earlier in the thread.

Interesting that the link takes you to a page that says you have to be a Times Select member. I get the NYTimes in email format every day, and am not a Times Select member. Yet when I clicked on the link in my email, I could read the article. It wasn't a fantastic article, but I could be saying that just because I'm not fascinated with how many castles Mackintosh owns and what he's going to do on vacation.

Holy craaaap.... those are FANTASTIC! I'm really excited to see it now....if it extends. Plus Norm Lewis looks bloody hot.

Although would it have killed them to release pics of Grantaire?

Every time I saw a picture with Celia, looking all depressed and cold and dirty it made me almost start crying. I feel for her.

I think Daphne looks fantastic. I just wish she was getting better reviews from people who have seen the show. re: Les Miz revival - production photos

Wow!! Those all look amazing -- both character-wise, and photo-quality-wise. I'm not a big fan of Norm's beard, but I could stare at those all day. :)

My boyfriend commented that Celia looked really old in the ALFOR picture, specifically pointing out her hands. From the reviews on this board, I had expected a sweet ALFOR, but it looks much rawer from the picture.

Great pictures. I'm not even a huge fan of the show, but it looks wonderful!

I enjoyed the production photos. I did like Ali's redesigned Cosette dress, and I agree that Celia has great facial expressions. It really makes me wish I could travel to New York and see the show. Now the thing that would make me a really happy Les Mis fan is a cast recording.

I want to know what they did to Fantine's dress.

Like I understand some changes are being made... but I loved the grey Empire waist one... like... it was my favorite...

why did they change it?!

re: Les Miz revival - production photos
that's a really big mic...

re: Les Miz revival - production photos

Why is ValJean ripping open his shirt and showing the scar on his chest in the one picture?

Am I having a brain fart... because I can't remember anything that would call for that in the show.
