The Club doesn't have lesbian characters, but was written for the all male character show to be played by an all female cast in drag.
There is major subtext in Coco. Granted 35 years after the fact it is a little obscure, but why else would a single 70 year old woman (played by Kate Hepburn) have a fit when her young model leaves the profession to get married?
