What did I tell you all! She was AMAZING in Urintown and GREASE.Ktitzer is so unique, and should have been in The Boy From OZ! I heard she will be Shelly in the ensemble in HAIRSPRAY. I heard someone who just left the tour after 6 months and was a swing on Broadway before that might be the new Penny. Anyone know if Kathy has renewed her contract? Most of the tour members are on a one year, but seem to be the next in line as Broadway needs replacements. Anyone seen the Tour in St. Louis?

If Kathy's leaving in May, I can't imagine she'd be taking a vacation in April.

In the "Hairspray" Tour the ensemble only signed on for 6 months, the Leads for a year. So several ensemble members left this past week,( I saw the show in St. Louis and went to the stage dooe after) and I heard one of them was booked as the new SAmmy DAvis for that new Tour. So that would not be "cannabalizing" to pick up those whose contracts have run out, or plan on them coming to NYC in the Fall when their contracts end. If Kathy leaves, you know they will being in CArly Jibson, as they should! She is awesome and 7 months on the road is a long time.I heard that Keala might be taking over full time in May, so what does that lead you to believe? There were some students there from OCU who had come to see Jordan Ballard and she and Keala were so funny at the stage door.

Leslie is replacing Shoshana in April. Shoshana is moving to LA to pursue a recording career.
As far as jen gambatese's replacement goes, i heard from a friend at telsey's office that they are looking to find a "NEW" Penny but are considering a tour cast member who has left as well.

i've heard kathy's vacation starts this sunday. she's listed for apprances on wayne brady and saop talk for next week. and i think she has a fan club thing next weekend.
