Has anyone heard it? I don't see posts referencing it. I thought it was mildly pleasant; sort of what we used to call elevator music. Can't really see it making any waves. Some nice Brazilian touches, but bland overall.

Isn't it just a reissue of an album from years ago?

Mostly but not all the songs are identical. I know autumn leaves is new and the duet with his wife isn't on the new one I don't think. (Which is a shame. She's phenomenal and I love that song. I have to get it off my old phone now.)

I love it. Smooth jazz. I listen to it when I'm traveling in particular and need something relaxing. (The original album had been in the rotation since last summer.)

it's four new songs I believe.

I love it.

I'm a big jazz fan though so it's right up my alley.

I thought his cover of "Joey, Joey, Joey" quite wonderful. It's graceful and without self-indulgence, all the more eloquent for its simplicity and and unforced handling of a melody that can invite show-offy interpretations. It's also a song that can be held hostage to its original setting -- a kind of ersatz cowboy attitude.  He's freed it from "Most Happy Fella" and preserved its poignancy.
