Haha, joanna, I really feel like there are a lot of people who feel in between, actually. I didn't love Lestat, I didn't hate it, I didn't really enjoy it, I saw it nine times, I worship the ground Carolee Carmello walks on, I'm not very impressed with Elton John ever... I mean, I don't think I could be more in between if I tried.
And I'm still excited for the recording!

Just called Colony, they said they had no information either way about the release of the Lestat Cast Recording.

Posted: 6/27/06 at 9:13pmNot to throw more wooden stakes at "Lestat", but if a CD was coming out in 2 weeks, it would be available for pre-order somewhere in the USA by now. It doesn't sound like it will happen. As many of you know, I'm not a fan of the show or the music (except "I Want More"), BUT if they went through the trouble of recording it, then it SHOULD be released for those people who did like the show and the music.

Posted: 6/27/06 at 10:15pmI liked some of the music in this show and have all of the songs that are out there right now, including the Elton demo stuff. I'm really hoping that this CD is released because I'd like to hear the music again, just the right way lol.

Posted: 7/4/06 at 11:48pmThis needs to be released. I'm sorry, but the damn thing's been recorded, just get it out there! I know the show folded much earlier than they expected and it costs money to produce the album copies, inserts, and promotional materials, but good God, it's not going to cost any more than a weekend of shopping would for Mr. Elton John.
