You going to Mat or Eve tomorrow? We're going for the Mat. Going to do the rear balcony and then move down to the front balcony, like we did last time.

I am really hoping for some changes from Dec 10th. I'm curious to see if they've upped the sets at all, and maybe pared the story down a bit.
I'll be sure to post something about it on Sun or Mon.

growing up I was a huge X-Men fan, so when the movie came out I was there on day one. I thought the movie was decent...the casting was great, it was faithfull to the comics, yet something about the execution was only..average. Still, I really liked the movie just for being so faithfull to the source and treating it with seriousness and not camp.
Just two years later, the same cast and crew re-united, got their **** together and made what I ( And many other fans and Critics ) think is one of the best comic book movies, X2.
In my mind, Lestat is like that..all the right ingredients are there, it just needs that extra something...We shall see if it gets the TLC it needs.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about being able to exchange for good seats. This show has no advance. And if you wait just a little bit for when the discounts come out, you'll be able to get a first rate orchestra seat for probably around $60 or so.

Hmmm. I'm surprised that Anne Rice has had much to do with the musical at all. Hasn't she all but disowned her 'darker' work now that she's converted?

By the way, the impression I've gotten is that Roth brought the idea of doing Lestat to Elton, not the other way around.

Here's what we know, directly from the producers themselves, as quoted by Riedel (assuming you can trust him to quote honestly):
- Lestat will be opening in New York
- There is a lot of extensive rework being done on the show
- A new consultant was hired, and no one is being fired
- Both the first preview and opening will likely be delayed a couple of weeks
That's it - everything else is just idle gossip.
