...for Rose, the new rat in Curious Incident, who has tragically departed this world.

 

May she rest in peace.

Ah that's sad...I'm sure the trainer is torn up about it. According to the article she rescued the rat last year so I'm sure she was fond of it...

We can comfort ourselves with the knowledge that Rose's too brief life was filled with happiness and adoration.

 

While her brethren were scrounging for pizza in subway stations, Rose led a life of royalty.

Ahh, she debuted last Thursday, which is the show I caught. RIP Rose.

Seriously? Of course she is. This is a creature that she rescued from certain death, nursed back to health and trained well enough to be in a Broadway show. And then it died in an accident in her own home. Yes she's a rat and not a human but I'm sure that her owner/trainer is very upset.
