Liberty Smith the Musical?

Is anybody familiar with this show? I remember for my sixth grade spring break my mom and I went to DC and we ended up seeing this show at the Fords Theatre! What a great experience it was and I still remember sitting there and thinking about Abe throughout the show, but that’s beside the point. Does anyone remember what this show was about? All I can recollect is that it was about the revolutionary war, really. I actually have no clue what the main character was or why they were important. I’ve been in Boston this past weekend and all this history has been reminding me of this show, but it’s still not enough.

Liberty Smith the Musical?

It's been a while since I saw it down at Ford's on an 8th grade trip to D.C., but if I remember correctly it was basically a fictional story about how Liberty Smith was the man who had actually done all the amazing things during the revolution that many notable figures take credit for. I can't remember being all that taken with it, but thought it was fine. Every time I see Geoff Packard in a playbill I do think about this production
