I was just thinking that as I listen to it.

I suppose they haven't announced it yet.

I would kill to play Hunter.

Or is it, to play WITH Hunter...?

I was thinking the same thing, Tobias.

But your name would have to be the right amount of syllables to sound right, wouldn't it? Say your name was LaQueesha. That doesn't really fit in.

I dunno.

If you're blessed with a name like LaQueesha, people best be making exceptions for you.

hun, the two standbys PLAYED Hunter, Jeff, Heidi, and Susan.. though, it'd be weird to see different people doing this show.....

I'll take a Jeff Bowen anyday!

Just because the original cast used their names doesn't mean future casts will. There are several choices in situations like this. Either productions in the future will use the same names as the original cast or they'll be in the script/score as Man 1/2 ect. and each actor will use their name. I'd say there's a fairly good chance that this show will be a hard sell to licensing companies anyways. It has such a limited audience. You have to enjoy musical theatre to "get" most of it.

re: Licensing - [title of show]

I spoke with Heidi at one point not too long ago, and she mentioned that in future productions the actors would be playing "Hunter, Jeff, Heidi, and Susan." Although, she also said at one point there was talk about localizing the show to the specific area it was playing.

Eh, who are we kidding? They're both cute. Hunter is just different, that's all. And then there's the redhead thing. re: Licensing - [title of show]

re: Licensing - [title of show]

I have a feeling it'll stick with the Jeff/Hunter/Heidi/Susan naming...
And, sondhead, don't be so sure. I hang out with non-musical theatre people, who still found it hysterically funny. The show may have a lot of theatre references, but the concept is funny enough that it'll carry over.

re: Licensing - [title of show]

There is no licensing yet because there is a good chance for a Broadway transfer in February to the Helen Hayes. Nothing official yet, but I know that it is being more than seriously discussed.

re: Licensing - [title of show]

I had wondered about that...I know at one point discussion had been very significant about it having a life on Broadway but hadn't been able to find much more since right after it's closing... hmmm.

Ok, so what are everyone's fave songs in this show?

Totally love the whole show, but I have Die Vampire Die & What Kind of Girl on Repeat.

Can't believe I just discovered the show a few days ago.
