I've seen it twice and LOVED it. It's a VERY close second behind History Boys for me. Poor Martin McDonagh. He just can't seem to catch a break.

I may be mistaken, but it seems to have been picking up each week. I know for a while it was playing in the 30's, but last time I was there a few weeks ago (while they still had the balcony closed off) the mezz (and I'm assuming the orchestra as well) was totally full.

I hope it's able to maintain it's current little upswing and last through the summer (at least)!

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I loved "History Boys," but I honestly thought "Inishmore" was a better play. It worked as comedy, drama, and metaphor concurrently, and delivered more sheer surprise than any play I've seen in a very long time - maybe ever.

It's not for everyone, but I'm looking forward to seeing it a second time.

I saw it last night, and thought it was hysterical.

Though sometimes they would talk really fast and I sometimes didn't understand everything they were saying.,

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

It's a great play. It really should be playing to full a house all of the time. I don't think the awards are going to help it at all.

The last 5 minutes of this play and the reactions that the audience have are worth the price of the ticket.

"We don't value the lily less for not being made of flint and built to last. Life's bounty is in it's flow, later is too late. Where is the song when it's been sung, the dance when it's been danced? It's only we humans who want to own the future too." - Tom Stoppard, Shipwreck

"Poor Martin McDonagh. He just can't seem to catch a break. "

Maybe he can't catch a break on Broadway, although he did win an Oscar this year (best live action short).

Isn't this McDonagh 4th nod?

Yep, and fourth loss.

I hope it lasts for a few more months. It really is a great play, and if this was any other year, would've won Best Play. Sad, that's what you could say for most of McDonagh's plays. If it were any other year last season, The Pillowman would've won Best Play too.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Saw it. LOVED it!! I have never laughed so hard and felt sooo guilty about it. If you have the chance do go see it!

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien
