Has anyone rushed Life of Pi yet? Hoping to do it next week and am wondering abut others experiences!

I put this in the main Life of Pi thread too, but in short, I don't recommend. It was a pretty easy rush; I got there at around 9:20 on a weekday and was first in line. I was warned that the seats were in the first row and partial view, but I bought them anyway.
When I got to the theater and saw how bad it was, I asked if we could do standing room instead, which was 1000x better than our original seats would have been. The stage is so high it feels like you're sitting underneath it. You'd definitely miss the floor projections and probably a lot of the action on stage.

I typically always like to sit in the Orchestra and have had some excellent luck with front row rush seats the past couple of years but after reading the consistent comments on the other thread and seeing a pic on View From My Seat of the view from the front row, I decided to follow the consistent advice and buy a ticket in the mezz. There is a code on Playbill.com that gets you a $58 all in mezz seat. I got 5th row mezz right but full view. It's less than $20 more than the rush tickets and I figured, if I'm going to go, why not be able to take in the full effect of the stage projections. The code is still active if you are interested.
