1. Cabaret
2. George M
3. Goodtime Charlie & others I can not recall

Other than Cabaret, I know it is not an endless list like others but he is well known in the theater. Dorothy Loudon should have got one before she passed on

Eventhough she is still pretty young...Bernadette Peters. I can't think of any other performer who has stayed so loyal to Broadway and is so well known for that matter.

I agree about Bernadette, but she's still young.
How about:
Carol Channing
Angela Lansbury
Arthur Laurents
Stephen Sondheim

I agree with Bernadette. Maybe they'll give her a Lifetime Achievement Tony this year to replace the one she should have won for Gypsy... Sorry, I don't want to start another argument. I do think, though, that she deserves the Lifetime Achievement Tony and I also think that Angela Lansbury should get one, as well as Joel Gray. And Sondheim, of course. The man is a genius. There exists the Theatre Hall of Fame Award, generally given for lifetime achievement.

Well Bernadette is already the youngest person to have been inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame.
In time she will get her lifetime acheivement Tony, but let's not continue to harp on last year's loss.
I would like to see her get the Kennedy Center Honors. re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Lifetime Achievement Tonys

of course my first choice is Julie, however she did receive the Kennedy Center Awards recently. So my next choices for Life Time Achievements for Theater are:

Christopher Plummer
Bea Arthur
Mary Tyler Moore
Ben Vereen
