I have a question for people who have seen Light in the Piazza. Where is the best place to sit? I have tickets for row N in the center or row C on the left side....i'm not sure which to take!! Thanks!

center is always good. If C is house left, then I'd say take it. if it's house right...then I would definitely not take it. It seems they play most to center and house left, for some reason. I was actually watching that detail with interest...

I sat near center N and it was a perfect seat. I think 5 or so rows back is perfect for that show. I wouldn't want to sit in row C.

Bobby makes a good point. The sets in this show are AMAZING. Seeing it from the side gets you closer to the actors, but you lose the big picture. Personally, I was in the Loge in Row A just right of center. Even that seat was great. I loved having the head-on visual of the piazza :)

My mother and I sat in left on the isle of row C. We really enjoyed sitting there. It's front row and you see everything. The orchestra is right below you and you feel and definetly hear the music. I guess to clear it up being on the left side of row C are great seats. I did notice that if you sat on the right they really don't play to that side. They played a lot to the center and to the left. Good luck with what you choose.

I was sitting to the right of the house and was disappointed that I could only see Matt's bare back during his shirtless scene.

Loved the show, would've loved it more with a better look from the left of the house.

Any seat is a great seat in this theatre. It's very short and wide. But from the choices you have, if it's house left, go with Row C.

I was in the Logeo in Row C on the left. The conductor is on the left side of the stage so I agree with crazy smiles about how they play towards the left. I thought my seats were great. They were usually facing right towards where I was sitting so they could follow the conductor. You didn't really miss anything. Maybe some of the set that was in the background stage. The set was pretty simple anyway. Oh and the Orchestra was loud. Maybe even a bit too loud.

Didn't want to start a new thread so I am just going to add my question here:

Where does front Loge start in relation to orchestra rows?

Well is row C REALLY to the left or in the 200's? If it's in the 200's, I'd say go for that.

I have the choice of Row A in the Center Loge or Row O in the center Orchestra. Which is better? Updated On: 4/9/06 at 11:01 AM

i got my student ticket in the last row of orchestra...and it was perfect. Everyone's right; sit house left if you can, that way you can get a proper view of Fabrizio's shirtless scene :)
