With Elisabeth Moss and Keira Knightley is aiming for a Bway Opening in Fall 11.

I'm intrigued.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I too am intrigued. It's a good play, and I always felt that the movie with Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine was given short shrift.

I always marvel at the subject matter for it's original time period.

Hopefully this will come to fruition.

"I always marvel at the subject matter for it's original time period."

Actually, there was a previous play on this subject presented on Broadway in 1926, "The Captive," based on a French play by Edouard Bourdet. It was a success with the public, but after a five month run, the cast was brought to court on a morals charge and the play had to close!

Edouard Bourdet was an excellent writer, and it would be really interesting if a play like this could be revived, or another of his, instead of the 1000th revival of "The Importance of Being Ernest," which I love, but, really, how many of these do we need to see year in and out?
