I'm actually excited for awards season for music as well - could we have the first crossover? Rent brought us there as did Wicked, but nothing has really crossed the line yet.

I love this award, as everyone who wins it is so deserving each year. (Mimi Lien is indeed a genius!) And it's what awards should be: money, with no strings attached, giving freedom based on promise and achievement

Does anyone know if Hamilton could be eligible for other Grammy awards? or are musical theatre albums just eligible in that category? It would be so awesome if it was nominated in main r&b categories or something! Can't imagine anything being better than it this season.
