Lincoln Center Theatre Memberships are Open--Act Fast

LCT Memberships, which have been closed a long time, are open now. You pay $50 (plus $2.50 service charge) for a year and it gives you the opportunity to buy one ticket to almost all shows at the member price and you can buy tickets ahead of the public.

These won't last, the open roster will close quickly!

Yeah, jump on this NOW! I got a couple of memberships several years ago (and its been years since they've accepted any new members) and they're well worth it just for access to the membership pre-sale for each show which lets you have your pick of primo center houses seats for any performance for just $40 a piece (if you go in previews; otherwise $50). It also ensures you easy access to good seats for shows at the very small Mitzi Newhouse, which sometimes sells out for really popular offerings. Friends of mine have been dying for memberships to re-open for YEARS, so grab it while you can -- it'll probably close again very soon and not re-open for years.

As a member, can you purchase more than one ticket for a particular show (i.e., one ticket at the member price plus one or more tickets at the non-member price next to the member seat)?

Strangely, I often got emails from Lincoln Center about membership opening. It doesn't look that hard to get.

I've had two memberships since I first signed up in the late 90s, so yes, you can buy as many memberships as you want. And I cannot imagine they care what country you're from and long as you can pay the $50/membership.

Margo, I was so sure I could count on you ! Please tell me, does it include South Pacific ? Because I am coming with my friend to NYC on April and want to see it (actually, because of Matt LOL) and all Telecharge offers, are far side seats ! If I can get good seats with that, I am so subscribing right now !!!

Yes, it includes South Pacific.

Telecharge has the same seats, but I think the service charge may be less with the membership as well, only like $3.50 for one ticket. They will hold them at the box office for you. I don't know about international mailing but they will mail them free in the U.S. Updated On: 12/10/07 at 09:44 PM

nom, telecharge has awful seats ! I've been searching, but they have seats only on the right and left sides and at $100 per ticket! But I have to thank you so much for your help on this and the other post ! You are truly wonderful !

With the membership previews are $40 and as of April 3 (the opening, for which no tickets are presently available) they are $50.

Of course Telecharge still offers far side seats for all the performances I want, so I am gonna risk trying for same or day-before seats when I am there ! I hope I'll get lucky, since it sounds like the show will be a smash !!
