Has anyone heard Bernstein`s new release of Peter Pan with Linda Eder as Wendy? Do you like her operatic soprano?

I have Peter Pan and think Linda sounds magnificent. She has such a purity to her voice, and what a range!

Being an enormous Linda fan (have seen her 3 times in concert - it's like a religious experience), I was very shocked and pleasantly surprised to see this new recording in the store last week. I had never heard Bernstein's "Peter Pan", but always knew of it. It's a lovely recording...most of it is music, and the songs take a few listenings to get into your head, but if you are a Linda fan, you will not be dissapointed. She has a lovely soprano, and should use it more often. The rest of the cast (what little there is of them) is excellent, too. If you wish to expose yourself to a new version of this classic tale, purchase this recording.

I purchased this CD because I am a fan of "Peter Pan". I think Linda Eder is ok, but I'm not her biggest fan. All and all, I found this CD to be a waste of money. Linda's voice is nice on the couple of tracks she sings on, but the rest is just intromental... save your money unless your a diehard Linda fan.

Linda's voice on this CD brought tears to my eyes. It is so pure, so strong, so touching, so magical. I can't believe that someone with that kind of voice actually walks on this earth. It is other worldly.
